Step 1:
Novel Assessment
$500
A thorough read-through of your novel from beginning to end, the Novel Assessment will give you an overview of everything you'll need to address prior to the start of the full edits. Delivered through our encrypted and interactive smart file, the assessment identifies plot holes, character development issues, genre inconsistencies, world-building, and more!
Step 5:
Typography/Formatting
$600/edition
You'll have a consultation with your Typographer to choose your custom fonts, design artistic elements, and determine the overall layout for the book. Hardcover, paperback, and ebooks all have individual formatting needs, which your Typographer will tackle while you sit back and enjoy the super fun part: cover design.
Step 7:
Proofread
Signature Package Only
The whole editorial team works together during this phase! Your editors will read through the novel to triple-check for any typos or glitches in the text; your Typographer will make sure the font and font sizing is readable and the formatting spaced beautifully; your Cover Designer will check for any printing misalignments, color saturation issues, and overall print quality.
Step 2:
Developmental Editing

The most crucial part of the entire process, developmental editing dives deep into your manuscript and helps you strengthen everything about your story to make it the best it can be. Characters, world-builds, thematic elements, and other big picture aspects are addressed, as well as points needing clarification and/or further development. This process is collaborative and intensive; you'll be working with your editor 1-on-1 to hash out all the details!
